Well, tomorrow was the American date for Thanksgiving, so I was co-hosting a dinner for the occasion. Would you like to come? You could bring Teito as well.

I've never heard of Thanksgiving, but sure. If there's food, Teito might eat.

But...has Teito not been eating? [ She intended to elaborate on Thanksgiving, but then he mentioned Teito 'might' eat. Perhaps he didn't mean it literally, but it didn't hurt to ask. ]

Willingly? Not usually. This whole "retraining" thing also requires me to retrain him to eat food and not nutrition pills.

[The exasperation over this leaks into his voice. It was ridiculous enough the first time.]
